MoooFarm is an Android app with an aim to bridge the gap between technology and dairy farmers. Their mission is to bring social change in several countries. MoooFarm enhances rural farmers’ access to better technology by inserting a complete dairy farm management tool with a built-in e-commerce platform into the dairy farming process of rural India. MoooFarm Founder’s Story
“When Param came from Australia, he had a vision to impact 100 million lives and dairy was one such sector where there was a huge gap and close to 100 million farmers’ daily source of income. We all met through common friends and started discussing the huge gap in the dairy ecosystem and how it can be resolved.” ~ Abhijeet, Co-Founder of MoooFarm who said this while being interviewed by YourStory.
With this vision, the founders started finding a solution for cattle insurance via facial recognition. They not only built a prototype in 2 months, but also participated in a World Bank Challenge, and after winning it, decided to start MoooFarm.

The startup raised $2.4 million in a Seed round which was led by Accel India along with Rockstart’s AgriFood Fund and Navus Ventures who participated in 2021. The startup saw a revenue of Rs. 55 crores in FY22 and expects to close this year with over Rs. 200 crores.
Business Model of MoooFarm
The first business model is Marketplace; in which a small fee is charged from both the buyer and seller. In the second business model, the cattle are sold at a price slightly higher than the purchase price and this model is known as the Inventory model. Feed is produced in-house and sold at a small margin.
Future Plans of MoooFarm
Mooofarm has grown its revenue in the Indian dairy sector with strong operational and technical expertise for a large and unexplored market which constitutes almost 4.6% of India’s GDP. Going forward, Mooofarm plans to further scale its operations in Rajasthan, Punjab & Haryana and also unlock its geographical footprint to Madhya Pradesh & Maharashtra. Further Mooofarm targets to grow its MoooSathi base to 3000 and increase its revenue to INR 300 crore by FY24.
